Creativity Works by K148

​

Some thoughts on the importance of letting creativity into our lives 

Now this masterplan 
Might not work 
If badgered or hurried 
Or swept to the side of our lives 

It might not work 
If we are watching the clock 
Or if we cut ourselves off 
And it might not work if we think we are there 

​

Creativity works 
In different ways 
It will fill in the gaps 
Over step and leave a mark
Stand alone or hold hands 
With it's likeness or it's enemy 

​

Creativity works 
To shade a response 
Ignite a reaction 
And might stay quite still 
For quite some time 

​

Creativity works 
Like a door you've never seen before 
Open and inviting 

Creativity works 
In making us braver
